- What is Abigmail?
Abigmail is a service proposed to companies and private individuals. You can send to a recipient up to 30 files from 1 MB to 2 GB, that is up to 60 Gigabytes per mail, just with a browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape. Your recipient receive your message right in his mailbox, a secured link allows him/her to download the files you have him/her. The files are accessible during 14 days.
Abigmail is then the best solution to transfer heavy files, since neither you nor your recipient have to create another email address, use an expensive specialized line or a complicated protocol.
For instance : a file of 100 MB sent through Abigmail will only cost you 0,60 euro!
Compare this with 20 Euros to send a CD-Rom by a courier...
- What are the advantages of Abigmail?
Abigmail is the right solution to send a large attachment file via mail. 30, 300, 400 megabytes... With Abigmail no matter their size! This service is useful in many cases :
- If you are a graphic design company, you certainly had to send large picture files to a client or to a supplier, tens or even hundreds of megabytes (Photoshop, Illustrator, PDF, Xpress, etc...). Previously, you had to burn these files on a CD-Rom, and then send them either by courier service or by snailmail. You might even had to deliver them by yourself. You lose time, you lose money. With Abigmail, you send your files directly by email, thanks to Internet. Your heavy files arrive faster than with any courier service, for a price often 99% lower, with all the security needed.
- You certainly had to send files over 4-5 megabytes by mail. In this case, either you cannot because of your mailbox, or because of the mailbox of your recipient. And if your recipient has already received several emails with heavy attachments, his/her mailbox is full, and your message is denied, and therefore, lost.
Abigmail gives you the possibility to send files without encumbering the mailbox of your recipient, since the files are stocked on our servers, and so your emails will never be lost or denied.
- You can send your email in one operation and your files to 5 recipients, without any additional cost. You are informed by email of the exact hour at which your recipients have opened your message and downloaded your files.
- My clients or my suppliers are not located in my country, is it a problem?
Be your clients or your suppliers in your contry or abroad, anywhere around the world, they receive your files in less than 10 minutes after you have sent them. You can chose among 6 languages when sending your message and your files, thus Abigmail will communicate with your clients or suppliers in his/her own language (french, english, german, spanish, italian, dutch) to indicate how to download your files.
- What are your prices?
ABM propose several space quotas, from 100 megabytes to 10 gigabytes for transferring per month, at prices quite cheaper than when using an ordinary courier service, that is between 0,01 € and 0,006 € for a megabyte according to the chosen subscription. You can change of space quota at any time by using your managing interface.
For instance : the 100 MB per month subscription costs only 16 Euros per year, that is 1,3 euro per month!

Important Note for the PeaceOfMind space quotas : Do notice that the price is paid for a year, for a XX MB every month. If you register for a 100 MB space quota, you pay only once 16 Euros at the beginning, and you can use 100 MB every month for one year, that is 1200 MB!
In this example, the 100 MB space quota at 16 € only costs you 1,3 € per month.
You will never find cheaper, that's guaranteed...
- Do my recipients also need an ABM account?
No they don't, your recipients do not need to subscribe. On your email, a securized link towards the files you are sending them is automatically generated, and they just need to click on it to get them.
- Is it possible for my clients/services providers to send me heavy files without getting an ABM account for themselves?
Yes, it is possible to share your transfer space quota, go to the page Share.
This service is not accessible to the free accounts.
- Do I have to possess a specific machine to use your services?
No specific machine or software is required. You have nothing to install.
You just need a web browser, such as Netscape (version 6 and higher), Firefox (Version 1 and higher) or Internet Explorer (version 5 and higher). Abigmail is compatible Mac or PC.
- How are my files protected ?
Your files are encrypted on our servers, then automatically decrypted when downloaded by your recipient. You can also protect your files with a password just by checking a simple option when you send your big files.
- I am a professional, can I customize Abigmail ?
Yes, Abigmail can be adapted to look like your website for example, or stick to your graphical chart. Once registered on Abigmail, you have the possibility if you wish to order the graphical Interface option (see some examples). For only 35 € our website will display your colors, so that when you or your clients use Abigmail, the website will display your graphical identity (logo, slogan, colors, photo).
This option is limitless, you do not have to pay for anything more than the initial 35 €.
An option of complete graphical personnalization (White Brand) also exists and can be proposed, do not hesitate to contact us.
- Do you put ads on your site?
No, Abigmail is ''clean'', you will find no advertisement on our website, neither for you nor for your recipients, be it with the free version or the paying accounts.
- How fast can you go?
When you use Abigmail, the speed you get uploading or downloading files depends on your connection. Our installation can support 1 Gb/Sec, that means that a 100 Mb file can be downloaded in less than 1 sec if you can go that fast. Usually best avalaible connection are 20 Mb/sec though, so you'll always be uplaoding/downloading your file at the maximum speed of your own connection.
